CBS Collegiate Sports Properties, the exclusive marketing and multi-media rights partner of LSU Athletics, is seeking qualified candidates to fill the position of Director of Fan Experience, Game Presentation with LSU Sports Properties  in Baton Rouge, La.

Job Summary

The Director of Fan Experience/Game Presentation will be a highly-organized and creative professional with a passion for college sports and live event planning. The individual will work to enhance the experiences of LSU Tiger fans. This person must be well-organized, a strong multi-tasker, and possess the ability to make informed timely decisions in high-pressure and fast-paced environments

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Serve as coordinator of LSU Tiger Game Presentation including elements in cooperation with other departments such as: Sports Information, Multi-Media Rights, Marketing, Ticketing, Facilities, Coaches and Event Management.

Responsible for writing all public address scripts for all events and will direct the graphic production of corresponding elements for scoreboards and LEDs.  Coordinate public address announcers for each LSU athletic event.

Manage any related event presentation staff including PA announcers, music and in-game entertainment.  Liaison with the LSU Band and coordinate their involvement in LSU events.

Direct all programming aspects of videoboards, scoreboards & LED Boards at LSU athletic venues including the creation of game scripts, timing sheets and public address announcements while working closing with teams, coaches, Multi -Media Rights Holder, TV Production, Marketing and Event Management.
 
Candidate will also direct the creation and production of video features for videoboards working closely with the TV/Video departments, as well as external production and creative elements.

Plan and execute pre-, post-, and in-game ceremonies, presentations and promotions at home events. Oversee National Anthem program including booking, scheduling, and game-night coordination of talent and needs.  Coordinate and execute game flyovers for football contests.

Attend Event Management and Marketing meetings in advance of home games and special events.

Serve any/all functions as necessary within the marketing department and any other duties or responsibilities as assigned by the Associate Athletic Director for Marketing.

Work closely with LSU Sports Properties to ensure the fulfillment of all sponsorship contracts, including arena and stadium signage, public address announcements, in-game promotions, , logo recognition and all other contract components incorporated into game presentation.
 
Supervise and train necessary temporary staff, including graduate assistants and student interns for game presentation and promotions.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent degree, combination of five years of athletic administration experience at the collegiate, professional or minor-league level which may include student employment or internships.

Desired qualifications

Master's degree or equivalent degree, communication and computer skills, the ability to perform detail-oriented yet creative work and be willing to handle multiple assignments, the ability to multi-task and the ability to make informed timely decisions in high-pressure and fast-paced environments skills.  Must be innovative and must work well in a team environment with full-time marketing staff members, student workers, coaches, other athletic department staff members and campus staff.

Special Requirements

Ability to work extended days, weekends and holidays.  Travel is required.
