Towson University's new state-of-the-art 5,200 seat arena breaks ground on May 10, 2011, and will be ready for the Tigers to compete in the Spring of 2013.  The new building, tentatively named Tiger Arena, was designed by Hord Coplan & Macht connected with Sasaki Associates who established some of the master planning for the 2008 Beijing Olympics. The facility is designed to be an elite-certified building with many sustainable features. The column-free interior and open concourse will provide Tiger fans with visibility from virtually every angle of the venue. Towson Sports Properties' corporate patrons will enjoy our state-of-the-art private suites, club seats, and exclusive hospitality events. The game venue will feature a four-tier digital videoboard with two ad rings, a live-action high definition video display and a versatile score display along with a one of a kind 420 degree LED display which will encircle the main arena and extend into the main concourse area.
